INSCRIPTION / ENGRAVING:

What are people putting on their bricks?

Please visit www.designmytulanebrick.com to create your personal message on an interactive virtual brick. Simply select the size you want and type in the boxes provided to instantly see how your inscription will look on a simulated version of your brick. In addition, other inscription examples are provided to nudge your creativity.

Can I put a personal image, graphic or symbol on my brick?

No, only numbers, letters and/or punctuation marks found on a standard keyboard are permitted in addition to Greek symbols. Websites and phone numbers, and/or commercialization will not be permitted. Tulane University reserves the right to approve all inscriptions prior to production. Should any message be deemed unsuitable, you will be contacted and allowed to submit an alternate inscription.

Can I have my personal message engraved in italics for special emphasis?

No, all inscriptions will be centered and engraved in UPPER CASE font to maintain a uniform appearance between all engraved bricks. The only exception will be emphasis on formal family names upon request only. (i.e., McDONALD, MÜLLER, JOSÉ, etc.)

How many characters fit on each line of a brick?

8" x 8" bricks can be engraved with up to fifteen (15) characters per line.

12" x 12" bricks can be engraved with up to eighteen (18) characters per line.

8" x 16", 16" x 16" and 24" x 24" bricks can be engraved with up to twenty (20) characters per line.

These characters includes spaces and all letters, numbers, and symbols on a standard English keyboard.

How many lines of text can I have on a brick?

8" x 8" bricks can be engraved with up to six (6) lines of text.

8" x 8" logo bricks can be engraved with up to four (4) lines of text.

12" x 12" logo bricks can be engraved with up to six (6) lines of text.

8" x 16" logo bricks can be engraved with up to one (1) line of text.

16" x 16" logo bricks can be engraved with up to six (6) lines of text.

24" x 24" logo bricks can be engraved with up to six (6) lines of text.

Can I change my inscription if I change my mind? Is there a fee?

Yes, there is a $10 reprocessing fee if an inscription is altered after the order has been released to production, which occurs after the proof time on the Inscription Verification Letter expires. There is no fee if an error was made during the order process and it is brought to our attention within the proof time indicated on your letter, which is typically generated within 3-4 weeks of your order being entered and approved by Tulane University.

ORDER / PAYMENT:

What is the last date I can order?

Due to the limited quantity of available bricks, sales will be first come, first served.

When does my credit card get charged?

Online and phone orders are charged immediately, whereas faxed or mailed in orders are processed within 5-7 business days of receiving your order.

When can I expect confirmation of my order?

An automatic payment receipt is generated for online and phone orders followed up with an email order confirmation within 72 hours of the order being processed.

Direct Mail or faxed orders usually take 5-7 business days to process once received. An email order confirmation will follow if an email address was provided on the order form.

Is there a discount for special groups?

No.

Can I purchase a gift certificate for a friend?

Yes; any brick option can be converted into a gift certificate, which does not require you to enter an inscription prior to check-out. It's a great gift idea for loved ones, graduates, football fans, etc. It's also a great way to secure your own placement at Yulman Stadium while allowing additional time to create your brick inscription.

Is my purchase tax deductible?

Yes; bricks installed at Yulman Stadium are 100% tax deductible through the Administrators of the Tulane Educational Fund, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Can I pay by check?

Yes. Checks should be made out to "Tulane Educational Brick Fund."

Can I make a stock donation for my brick?

Yes; stock donations will be handled directly by Tulane University. Please call 855-WAVE-BRK (855-928-3275) to speak with a customer service representative about this option.

Where will the proceeds from the bricks go?

Proceeds from the brick campaign will support the construction of Yulman Stadium.

QUANTITY / LOCATION:

How many bricks are available?

A limited number of personalized engraved bricks are available for installation in the Game Day Plaza and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I choose where my brick is placed?

All bricks will be installed at the discretion of Tulane University within the Game Day Plaza.

When will the bricks be installed?

The bricks will be installed during the construction of the Game Day Plaza prior to the 2016 football season.

Where will the bricks be installed?

Engraved bricks will be installed at the new Game Day Plaza, located at Yulman Stadium.

KEEPSAKE REPLICAS & DISPLAY CASES:

What is the replica made of?

The keepsake replica is made of the same material as the installed brick. Colors may vary slightly due to natural variances.

Can a Replica be shipped to a different address?

Yes, with the exception of P.O. & A.P.O. Box addresses.

How long does it take to get my replica?

Replicas are expected to be engraved and shipped within 10-12 weeks from the date the order is processed and approved by Tulane University.

Can I pay to have my replica expedited?

Yes; please call 1-855-WAVE-BRK (855-928-3275) to request an expedited shipping quote from a customer service representative.

Where is my replica brick?

If you have placed an order more than 12 weeks ago and have not received a shipment tracking notification, please call 1-855-WAVE-BRK (855-928-3275) or email bricks@tulane.edu.

Can I order Display Cases after I have placed my order?
